This year’s Falcons will look to build upon last year’s playoff run and Bears Cup final appearance. The Falcons will be led by a familiar face, head coach Tracy Cassel, and assisted by newcomer Sean Mattson. They will be assisted by several returning key players as well as some new faces who plan to continue the winning tradition of the Falcons.
The offensive attack will be led by returning senior co-captain Travis Swartz as well as fellow senior Jake Williams, juniors Broghan Spotz, Ryan Grubb, Conor O’Neil and sophomore Andrew Lister. Incoming players will include seniors Ryan Cerwinske, Cole Lamarco and a trio of freshman, Ryan Yingst, David Bramley and Trevor Rowe who will all be looked to for some added scoring punch and toughness.
The defensive corps will be anchored by the return of senior co-captain Joe Macrina and sophomore Michael Regan both of whom will look to build upon last year’s experiences. This duo will be joined by junior Darren Stine and freshmen Marshall Kiessling who will look to make an immediate impact.
This year’s goaltending duties will be handled by two new netminders as sophomore Taylor Guevarez steps between the pipes, backed up by junior Jason Henry-Linn.
The Falcons lost many key players from last year’s squad, but this year’s team looks to improve and bring the Bears Cup home to Lower Dauphin! |
