 The York Suburban Varsity Ice Hockey Club is competing in their eighth season of CPIHL competition. The two returning seniors, Sean Connor and Elliot Quinton, will be leading the team this year. The Trojan juniors, Zeke Ottemiller, Matthew Woods, Jordan McCue, Dylan Eppolito, and Josh Miller-Sentz, all have several years of hockey experience and talent, which they hope to showcase on the ice. Moving up from the Middle School team are freshmen Patrick Malloy and John Huddleston. Junior Shane Royer is back in the net as goaltender to anchor the team.
The Varsity team coaches include Head Coach Mike Connor and Assistant Coach Brendan Davis. This is Coach Connor's second year leading the team and will be building on last year's momentum. Coach Davis is a former York Suburban Trojan player returning to add his experience to the coaching team. Under their leadership and motivation, the coaches will no doubt have the team prepared to play hard, play as a team and play with sportsmanship.
With the leadership and talent on this years Varsity squad, this season promises to be an exciting and successful one. |
