WELCOME TO THE CPIHL Congratulations to the 2002-2003 Varsity Champions Click here for an important announcement on Varsity playoffs. The Central Pennsylvania Inter-Scholastic Ice Hockey League (CPIHL) was formed in 1994 to promote High School ice hockey in the Central Pennsylvania Area. In it's inaugural season, the League was comprised of eight teams at the Varsity level. For the 2002-2003 season the League will have 42 teams at the Varsity level (grades 9-12), 39 teams at the Junior High level (grades 6-9) and 9 teams at the JV level (grades 9-11). This web site was developed to provide pertinent and up-to-date information concerning the organization and the current playing season. The site is organized in Sections with related detail links identified within each section. In the Organization Section, we've identified the members of the Executive Committee, the various League Committees, and the Member Clubs and their respective League Representatives. The Important Dates page lists dates of meetings and due dates of various important items. An Announcements link is available to check for any important communications from the CPIHL. Check this often to keep up to date with the latest developments that affect the CPIHL. In the 2001-2002 Season section, one will find a list of the Varsity, Junior High, and JV Teams by Division, Team Rosters, the current Master Schedule, any Schedule Changes, the Game Results, and the current Standings by Division. As we move closer to the All Star Game and Division Playoffs, we will include the game information and rosters for the All Star Game and schedules and results of the League Playoffs and the Flyers Cup. For those interested in the administration of the League, the Documents section provides copies of the Playing Rules, Minutes of the Board of Director meetings, and the procedure to be used for reporting Game Scores to be included on this site. (Please note that Game Results and Standings are based on scores reported to the CPIHL via this procedure and not the scoresheets submitted to the League). A File/Form Downloads page contains a list of files that may be downloaded to be used by Clubs to transmit Club Officers and Team Rosters information as well as various preprinted forms. The last section, appropriately labeled Miscellaneous, contains a list of the Rinks used by the League and directions to get there, Links to other Ice Hockey web sites, and a list identifying updates to this web site as they occur. Also included in this section is a link to the website as of the conclusion of 2000-2001, 1999-2000 and 1998-1999 seasons. We at the CPIHL hope everyone from the current player to the prospective player finds this site to be informative and a reliable source of answers to any questions concerning the League.
